Roland D. Tibbetts

"Roland D. Tibbetts, 52, of Main Street, died Friday, December 9 in Springfield at the home of his mother. Born in Evansville, Indiana April 25, 1953, he was the son of Lorraine (Paquette) Tibbetts of Springfield and the late Edgar Tibbetts. He lived in the Springfield and Bondsville areas before moving to Monson two years ago. He worked for Quaboag Transfer for 10 years and most recently for Waldman Publishing in Ludlow for the past several months. Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife Beverly Pierce, two sons Michael of the area, and Keith of Northampton, three step children Jasmin and Timothy Ertel of Monson, and Jacob King at home. He also leaves a sister Elizabeth DeMarco of Warren, and two brothers Kevin of Detroit and Paul of Chicopee, three step grandchildren, Autumn Lloyd, Justice Ertel, and Aven Santiago, along with many nephews. He was predeceased by a sister Pamela McLean in 1996. A Celebration of his Life will be held on Tuesday, April 25, 2006 at Miller Park in Monson.
