"Palmer – Ross W. Karnbach, Jr., 15, of Memory Lane, died tragically on June 30, 2006 as a result of an accident in the Swift River in Bondsville. Born on Oct. 31, 1990 in Islip, NY, he is the son of Ross W. and Susan R. (Fisher) Karnbach. Ross was born and raised in Long Island, NY and has lived in Palmer for the last five years. He was a student at Pathfinder Regional High School and a member of the Boy Scouts Troop 163. He was also training very hard with hopes of making the school’s football team this fall. Ross enjoyed paintball with his crew of friends, “The Crew”. Besides his parents he will be deeply missed by a brother Ryan C. and a sister Kerri R., both at home, his paternal grandparents Joseph & Margaret Pasterino of New Port Richy, FL and maternal grandparents Charles A. & Ruth M. Fisher of PA. He also leaves many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and his dog Kelly and Kitty, his cat. A funeral service will be Tuesday, July 4 at 10:00 a.m. in Christ the King Lutheran Church, 758 Main St., Wilbraham. Calling hours are Monday, July 3 at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home, 1475 N. Main St., from 4:00-7:00 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Life service at 7:00 p.m. A graveside service will be on Thursday at 10:00am at Oak Knoll Cemetery, Palmer. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory the Ross W. Karnbach, Jr. Memorial Fund, c/o Country Bank for Savings, 1485 N. Main St., Palmer, MA 01069. "
