William Horyschuk

"Granby - William Horyschuk, Jr., of Phins Hill Manor died on September 21, 2013 at home with his family by his side. Born in Chicopee, January 22, 1932, he was the son of William Sr. and Mary (Balakoon) Horyschuk. William grew up in Hadley and worked for the Commonwealth of MA in the Division of Forest in Parks on Skinner Mountain. He then went on to be a certified locksmith at Serv-U. For 7 years, William served his country in the National Guard Division G, 104th Infantry Regiment. William will be greatly missed by his wife Jo Ann (McCarthy) along with his four daughters, Kathleen Carreira (Armando) of Wellsley Chapel, FL, Maureen Horyschuk-Guier (Reggie) of Largo, FL, Rosemary Morris (Stanley) of Palm Harbor, FL, and Beth Ann Ells (Peter) of Whatley, MA. He was the beloved grandfather to seven grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Besides his parents, William was predeceased by two children, Colleen and William, along with brother George and sister Elsie Grabiec. All services will be privately held and Beers & Story S.Hadley Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
