"Palmer - William F. Oldread , 55, died on September 28, 2013 at Berkshire Medical Center. He was born on December 29, 1957 in Holyoke, MA and was the son of Willard and Elaine (Guiel) Oldread . He has resided in Palmer for the past 21 years. Bill worked as a Maintenance Manager for Country Pure Foods in Ellington, CT for the past six years and prior to that he worked for many years at Kansaki. He enjoyed vacations with his wife and cherished time with his family. He will be forever missed by his wife of 20 years, Anne- Marie (Cote), along with his five children, Patrick Oldread of Bondsville, Anthony Carofaniello of Spencer, MA, Amber Oldread of Groton, CT, Joshua Oldread of Peru, MA, Krystal Oldread of Cromwell, CT and his 4 grandchildren. His mother, Elaine Oldread of South Hadley, and siblings, Gail Lesperence-Norris of Atlanta, GA, Joyce Miga of Northampton, MA, Jeffrey Oldread of Hancock, NH, Nancy Morin of Chicopee, MA, in-laws, Jean-Rene and Suzanne Cote of Quebec, Canada and his extended Berry family also survive him. He was preceded in death by his father, Willard Oldread. Calling hours will be on Sunday, October 6 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Beers and Story Palmer Funeral Home, 1475 North Main.
