James "Jimmy" Leo Cahill, Jr

James “Jimmy” Leo Cahill, Jr., 55, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 in High Point, NC. Jimmy was born in Ware, MA on March 29, 1970, to Joyce (Bengle) Cahill and the late James Leo Cahill, Sr (1992). Jimmy is survived by his mother, Joyce (Bengle) Nelson, sisters: Lisa Moynahan (Sean), Jacqueline Kozlik (Anthony), nephews: Joshua Moynahan (Chelsea), Nathan Moynahan (Hannah), Adam Kozlik (Nicole), and niece: Amanda Charier (Corey). He also leaves behind stepbrothers, William Nelson Jr. (Leslie), Gerald Nelson (Stacy), Robert Nelson (Cheryl), and step sister Dianna Nelson and their children. He will also be missed by his dogs, Dakota and Dottie. Jimmy was employed by Drillers Services, LLC as a delivery truck driver. Prior to that, he worked for Ryder in New York for several years before transferring to North Carolina as a tractor and trailer mechanic. He liked fishing and hunting and enjoyed playing cards and games. Jimmy's love for gardening was evident by his large vegetable garden, beautiful flower beds and fruit trees. A graveside service will be held Saturday, June 20 at 11am at St. Anne's Cemetery on Main St in Three Rivers.
