Anthony F. Roda

August 28, 1961 — April 2, 2026

Anthony Floyd Roda, a devoted husband and father, passed away on April 2, 2026, at the age of 64, surrounded by those he loved.    Tony’s life was a testament to love, laughter, and adventure.

He was born on August 28, 1961, in Traverse City, Michigan to the late Alice Dutilly and Anthony Roda and moved to western Massachusetts at age 1. He built a successful career as a mortgage broker, where his integrity, dedication and authenticity earned him the trust and respect of clients and colleagues alike.

Tony’s life was led by a passion for adventure that brought him all over the world. Regardless of the location, he found his greatest peace in nature. He was an avid fisherman, a skilled hunter & outdoorsman, and someone who truly felt at home under open skies.

Tony loved his family and took immense pride in being a father. His legacy lives through his children who embody his adventurous soul, sense of humor, strength of character and appreciation of the natural world.

In January of 2023, Tony met his wife, Nicki. The pair fell in love and began to plan a future that blended their unique visions. They each brought their own individuality to the relationship; the culmination, a Yin and Yang much stronger than the energy they carried alone.

Tony is survived by his loving wife, Nicole Saulnier; his three children, Nicole, Dylan, and Alexis; his siblings, Shelly Kolb and husband Bob, Sheryl St. Pierre, and Lois Dutilly; nieces and nephews that adored him; and his beloved dog Beau. He was predeceased by his brother Jack  Lafrinere.

Tony will be remembered for his strength, perseverance, and joy for life. His memory lives on in the hearts of his friends and family. His spirit lives on like “a storm in the desert, a sleepy blue ocean, or a walk in the rain”.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, April 22nd from 10:00 AM- 12:00 PM followed by a service at the Beers & Story South Hadley Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity that reminds you of Tony.
