Forever Remembered

Brent King of Ben Lomond

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved husband and father Brent King, who left us peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, June 6th, 2024. Brent was a man of courage who made good things happen, both at work and at home. His jovial spirit and positive vibes left a lasting impression on those around him.

Born on September 11, 1956; Brent lived a life full of adventure, always seeking new horizons and experiences. He grew up in Farmington, MI until enlisting in the Navy to serve his Country and follow his passion for Aerospace. Brent's time in the Navy took him to numerous places around the world, but California stole his heart and that is where he settled. Those who knew him best had the pleasure of hearing all about his time overseas.  Brent’s Engineering career in Aerospace technology spanned over 35 years, until he retired in September of 2015.

After retiring, Brent and the love of his life, Janet took advantage of their freedom and explored as much as possible traveling by plane, auto, boat and motorhome. Brent had a passion for vintage motorcycles and loved to rebuild, research and share his knowledge with others. This passion created a special bond with his grandson Jayden forging a unique and lasting connection between them. Known to many as Brently or UB, he touched the lives of so many with his outgoing, friendly personality, Brent was a true leader.

Brent is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Janet King of Ben Lomond, his cherished daughter Cristen, respected son-in-law Jeremy and his grandson Jayden.

Brent also leaves behind his sister Kimberly (brother-in-law Rick), brothers Jim (sister-in-law Marlene) and Gary (sister-in-law Cynthia). Also to be included, are his numerous nieces and nephews who he holds dear to his heart.

A celebration of life will be held At Bruno's Bar and Grill in Scotts Valley on July 13, 2024 from 12:00 - 3:00.
