Mary Scarpa
August 6, 1926 — June 9, 2013
Mary Louise Scarpa, a long time Adelanto resident, passed away on June 9, 2013. Mary was involved with many aspects of Adelanto's Development. She truly loved Her City and its residents. Besides her love for family Mary's greatest pleasure was Baseball, especially the Mavericks and the San Francisco Giants.
Mary is survived by daughters Barbara and Jennifer Scarpa; son, John Scarpa; brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Elaine Baner; daughter-in-law, Joyce Scarpa; grandchildren, Angela, Theresa, and Edward Scarpa, Kevin Leiseberg, and Justin and Chantelle Shepard; great -grandchildren, Christian and Steven Scarpa, Breanna Shepard, Kaylee Bolden, Ryder and Hayden Shepard; as well as her nieces, Laurel Maloy and Melanie Erickson.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, John Ira Scarpa; her son, Jeffrey Wayne Scarpa; grandsons, Jeremy and Matthew Scarpa; and her best friend and adopted sister, Patricia Ann Chamberlain.
We Love you and will miss you.
A Graveside service only will be held on Saturday, June 15th at 10 a.m. at Victor Valley Memorial Park, 17150 C Street in Victorville. All who wish to attend are welcome.
