Beverly E. Campbell

Beverly E. Campbell, 66, of Arnold Avenue, passed away peacefully Monday morning, February 10, 2014, at St. Mary's Hospital in Amsterdam. Born January 17, 1948 in Little Falls, New York she was the daughter of the late Harry and Florence Russ Vogel. She was a lifelong resident and attended Fort Plain schools. Beverly was employed for a number of years for Kem's Cleaners in Amsterdam and later she worked as a school aide for the Amsterdam School District. She was a diehard Jet's football fan. Beverly enjoyed playing Texas holdem, playing bingo and watching wrestling. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. On February 3, 1973 she married Steven J. Campbell. Besides her husband she is survived by her children, Sandra M. Irvin of Warrensburg and her fiancé Leo Barrett, Jr., Larry Irvin and Steven J. Campbell, Jr. both of Amsterdam, Kathleen Campbell of Mayfield and her fiancé Christian Pollack; two sisters, Barbara Ouderkirk of Ilion and Connie Morse of St. Johnsville; thirteen grandchildren; one great grandson; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Beverly was predeceased by her grandson, Richard Jeffrey "RJ' Introne. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday evening, February 12, 2014, at 6;00 pm at the Jackson & Betz Funeral Home, 15 Main Street, Fultonville, NY with the Rev. Charles Hesselink officiating. Family will receive relatives and friends one hour prior from 5 to 6 pm at the funeral home. Cremation will follow the funeral service.
