Charles Fuerst

Charles Fuerst, 75, passed away on Monday, January 13, 2025.

Born on March 28, 1949, a son of the late Edward and Elizabeth Fuerst.

A lifelong resident of the area, Charles attended Broadalbin Perth School District. Charles went on to join the United States Air Force in 1969 and proudly served until 1972. He was a lifelong truck driver and recently was working for Power Pallet and Recycling in Amsterdam. 

Charles loved to fish, ride motorcycles, play online games and watch Star Trek and NCIS. Most of all, Charles loved to spend time with his family, who will greatly miss him.

Survivors include his companion of over 35 years, Sharon Suchocki; daughter, Charlee Fuerst; son, Vic Suchocki (Marianne) and Lawerence Hamm; sister, Loretta Fuerst; brother, Mark Fuerst; grandchildren, Mason Suchocki and Zachary Hamm. Many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. 

Calling hours for Charles will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, from 5pm until 7pm at Betz, Rossi, Bellinger & Stewart Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam.
