Patricia B. Rieth

Miss Patricia B. Rieth, age 81, of Gloversville, died Tuesday evening, April 23, 2013 at Nathan Littauer Hospital Nursing Home, Gloversville.
She was born October 18, 1931 in Gloversville, the daughter of the late Julius and Blanche Tallon Rieth. She worked for many years in the human resource area at General Electric Co; Schenectady.
Miss Rieth was a member of the Church of the Holy Spirit, Gloversville, the Red Hat Society of both Gloversville and Scottsdale, Arizona and the G.E. Woman's Club of which she served as Trips Chairman for many years. She enjoyed traveling all over the world and has visited over 50 countries.
Patricia is survived by her brother, William D. Rieth of Burnt Hills; her sister, Betty Baldwin Herb of Burnt Hills; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by two brothers: Donald M. Rieth and Robert Rieth.
The family will receive relatives and friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, April 28th at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont St; Gloversville, where a prayer service will be conducted 11:15 a.m. Monday, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 p.m. at the Church of the Holy Spirit, Gloversville. The Rev. Neil Draves Arpaia will be the celebrant. Interment will take place at Ferndale Cemetery, Johnstown.
Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the Church of the Holy Spirit, 151 S. Main St., Gloversville, NY 12078 or to the American Cancer Society, 260 Osborne Rd; Loudonville, NY 12211.
