Middle Grove- Richard W. Vidulich, age 84, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2026 at his home with his loving family by his side. He was born April 3, 1942 in Amsterdam, the son of the late Joseph and Helen Vidulich. Richard was the beloved husband to Mary Ann Vidulich. They were married 43 years.

Richard worked as a Machinist at General Electric Company, Schenectady, New York until his retirement.

Richard enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. In his younger years, he took a keen interest in aviation. Richard was an avid traveler, going on many trips with his wife, Mary Ann and all their beloved Shih Tzu's. He loved going to garage sales to find antiques, coin collecting, and trying new hobbies (deep sea fishing, diving, jet skiing, horseback riding, camping, and endless others). Richard especially enjoyed his family trips to Long Beach Island where many beautiful memories were made. He cherished the time he spent with his beloved wife and daughter. Above all else, Richard treasured the unwavering companionship of his beloved dog, Ty whose loyal presence never left his side.

Richard cherished the kind compassionate care which allowed him to remain at home as was his wish, due to the support provided by his main caregiver and wife, Mary Ann; his daughter, Donna; his close friend, Ethan; and hospice who helped to make his final days as comfortable as possible. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of Saratoga Community hospice who became like family for the kindness, love and comfort they provided.

Richard will always be remembered by all those he loved for his generosity and willingness to help those around him.

In addition to his loving wife, Richard is survived by his cherished daughter, Donna (Robert S. Kemper) Hamilton; his sister, Arlene Vidulich; his, sisters-in-laws, Carol (Louis) Cretaro and Denise (the late Bruce) Deppoliti; his beloved dog, Ty; his close friends, Bobby S., Ethan, Bobby L., and Ronnie; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors, and friends.

In addition to his parents, Richard is predeceased by his brother, Donald Vidulich; his brothers-in-law, Bruce Deppoliti and James Deppoliti; his dogs; and several extended family members.

To keep with Richard's wishes, no services will be held.
