Terry A. Rouse

Terry A. Rouse, age 59, of Fonda passed away on Wednesday May 9, 2012 at St. Mary's Hospital in Amsterdam. He was born in Amsterdam, NY on December 24, 1952 the son of the late Chester and Beverly VanNort Rouse. On January 30, 1988, Terry married Beatrice Suits Rouse. They have shared 24 years united in marriage. Terry worked for Sandell Industries as a plant manager for many years. He was an avid hunter and loved to go fishing. Terry had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Most of all Terry loved to spend time with his daughter. He will be missed by all who knew him. Terry is survived by his wife; Beatrice Rouse of Fonda, a daughter, Sarah Rouse Maxwell Spritzer, two brothers; Larry Rouse, Jeffery Rouse Sandra as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Family and friends are invited and may call from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday May 11, 2012 at the Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville. A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday May 12, 2012 at the funeral home with the Rev. Cynthia Van Allen officiating. Interment will follow at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Gloversville. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Terry's memory to the Meco Volunteer Fire Department, 1600 State Highway 29A, Gloversville, NY 12078.
