Mr. Timothy M. Craig, age 48, of Broadalbin, NY; formerly of Perth, passed away Saturday, October 1, 2005 at St. Mary's Hospital, Amsterdam, from injuries sustained after being struck by a car on August 21, 2005.
Tim was born in Amsterdam on May 6, 1957, and is the son of Maryann Alexander Craig and Wayne Craig of Perth. He was a 1976 graduate of Perth Central High School. Tim attended VOTEC in Johnstown and received certification for Environmental Conservation.
Tim loved the outdoors and spent much time walking. His passion was hunting and gardening. Listening to country music was a favorite passtime. He was employed by Fiber Conversion Inc. in Broadalbin, and also at TC Flooring, a family business in Fonda.
He is survived by his parents, Wayne and Maryann Craig; two sons, Jason Craig of Gloversville and Eric Craig of Amsterdam; a daughter, Jamilee Craig of Gloversville; his brother, Tracy Craig Sarah of Fonda; two grandchildren, Dallas Hines of Broadalbin and Jose DeLeon Jr. of Gloversville; his wife, Lori Visconti Craig of Middle Grove; close friend, Shelly Montgomery of Broadalbin; several aunts, uncles, cousins, two nieces and a nephew.
Tim will be missed greatly by all who knew him. He was a fun-loving individual who enjoyed being around his family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Tuesday, October 4, 2005 at Jeffords & Stewart Funeral Home, 85 W. Main St; Broadalbin, where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday with the Rev. Thomas Tennant officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Brain Trauma Foundation, 523 E. 72nd St; New York, NY; 10021, or to Mountain Valley Hospice, 108 Steele Avenue, Gloversville, NY; 12078.
