Vernice "Pat" Pieniazek , 98 , of Amsterdam , New York passed away September 16, 2017 at River Ridge Living Center, LLC Amsterdam , New York . She was born on July 21, 1919 in Amsterdam , New York to Frank and Josephine Lewandowski .
Vernice is survived by her 2 sons Stephen (Janet) Pieniazek Jr. of Ballston Spa NY, and Francis (Shiela) Pieniazek of Hagaman NY. 4 Grandchildren David, Susan, Mark, and Francis Jr., 6 Great Grandchildren Reagon, Dylan, Hunter, Bailey, Elizabeth, and Sara.
She was predeceased in death by her husband Stephen who died in 1985.
Vernice was a communicant of St. Stanislaus Church
The family will receive friends at St. Stanislaus Roman Catholic Church 50 Cornell St., Amsterdam NY on Wednesday 9/20/17 from 10 to 11 am with a mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11 am with Fr. O. Robert DeMartinis officiating. Interment will follow in the family plot of St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations in Vernice's memory may be made to St. Stanislaus Church.
The family would also like to Thank the Administrators and Staff at River Ridge Living Center for the great compassion and care given to Vernice while she was there.
