Pamela Jean Brownell, 57, of Gloversville passed away on Saturday April 9, 2022. Born in Cooperstown, NY on January 30, 1965. She was the daughter of the late Shirley Fish and Albert (Cheryl) Brownell Sr.
She was a graduate of Northville Central School, the class of 1983. She participated in Lexington’s workshop for many years. She worked for Meatland as a butcher for a few years, and she also volunteered at the Gloversville Senior Center, and also worked with the homeless. She was an avid Bingo player, and also enjoyed playing Yahtzee, and cards. She enjoyed watching the Miami Dolphins and enjoyed watching Nascar and especially liked Dale Jarrett. She enjoyed her large family gatherings. She will be missed dearly by the apple of her eye Hunter Hayes who was her great nephew, and also her sidekick.
Pamela is survived by her brothers Albert (June) Brownell Jr; James (Cheryl) Brownell, and John (Pauline) Brownell, and her sisters Judy Baker, Robin (Al) Calordino. Also survived by her step sisters and brothers Sandy (Mike) Schmidt, Charles (Steph) Brownell, Julie (Chris) Brownell, Dan (Candace) Brownell, Bert Brownell, Tim Brownell, and by many nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her sister Cheryl Clemons, her brother Thomas Brownell, her step brother Michael Douglas, and her brother-in-law George Baker, her niece Ashley Putnam and a great niece Katarina Lotman.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Jackson & Betz Family Funeral Home, 15 Main Street, Fultonville, NY 12072 on Friday April 15, 2022 from 11 am to 1 pm. Burial will follow in the family plot of the Evergreen Cemetery, Fonda NY.
