Ronald Paul Kasza, 58, of the Town of Mohawk, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at his home. Born in Buffalo, NY on April 10, 1965 he was the son of the late Paul and Joanne Molnar Kasza.
He grew up in Buffalo, Norwich and lastly Fonda, NY. He was a graduate of Fonda- Fultonville High School, where he was a standout Football athlete. He went on to play as a semi-pro player with the Colonials. He was employed by PSD Graphics for over 25 years. He was also employed by the Fonda DPW and lastly served as Superintendent of the Village of Fultonville.
Ron was a jack of all trades. He was willing to help anyone in need and always lent a helping hand. He enjoyed being outdoors, camping, fishing and hunting. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was predeceased by his parents; his uncle, John Molnar; and his best friend, Ronald “Hink” Hinkle.
Survivors include his wife, Nicci, whom he married on August 28, 2021; his daughters, Jenna Kasza (Hunter Sutherland), and Jamie Kasza; two step sons, James Lathrop and Stephen Lathrop (Rhonda); his siblings, Eric Kasza (Melissa), Kathleen Kasza (Kevin Rigg), Amy Meier (Robert); his three nieces, Kaycie “Fred” Kasza, Hannah Kasza and Ava Meier; his extended family, mother-in-law, Jeanne Rankie So; father-in-law, Steven Page (Bonnie); three brothers-in-law, Thomas Page, Daniel Page (Sylvia), and Michael Page (Frankie); and many friends. He is also survived by his canine companions, Samuel L. Dog and Emma Bear.
A Service of Remembrance will take on Friday, December 22, 2023 at 1p.m. at Betz, Rossi, Bellinger & Stewart Family Funeral Homes, 15 Main Street, Fultonville. A calling hour will precede the service beginning at 12p.m. All are invited to attend. Please visit the online memorial at www.brbsfuneral.com
