Timothy W. Wilmot Sr.

Timothy W. Wilmot Sr., 63, of Fonda, NY passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 10, 2022 surrounded by his family. Born in Amsterdam, NY on June 16, 1959, he was the son of Lula Koons Wilmot and the late Ronald R. Wilmot, Sr. A lifelong area resident, Tim graduated from Fonda- Fultonville High School. Dedicated to his family, he was a hard worker all of his life. He was employed on a farm, worked in the leather mills, and lastly as a machinist for Anderson Instrument. Tim had to retire do to ill health. On April 21, 1979 he was united in marriage to Donna Phillips. Their marriage was blessed with three children. Tim enjoyed camping, hunting, taking trips, going to the Fair, and loved animals. He loved his family, and will be missed by all who knew him. He was predeceased by his dad, Ronald; and his brother Robert. Survivors include his mother, Lula; his wife, Donna; three children, Timothy (Erin) Wilmot Jr., Amanda Wilmot (Tommy Subik), and Richard (Jamie) Wilmot; eleven grandchildren, Adrianna, Olivia, Timmy, Elizabeth, McKayla, Alexis, Zavier, Lauria, Andrew, Easton and Jasmine; five siblings, Ronald Wilmot Jr., Michael Wilmot (Renee), Anthony (Debbie) Wilmot, Mark (Mary Ellen) Wilmot and Rebecca Wilmot; several nieces, nephews and cousins. A Service of Remembrance will take place on Friday, September 16, 2022 at 11a.m. at the Jackson & Betz Funeral Home, 15 Main Street, Fultonville, NY. Burial will follow in Maple Avenue Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Thursday, September 15, 2022 from 4p.m. until 7p.m. at the funeral home.
