Daniel C. Glover

Gloversville- Daniel C. Glover, age 81, of Gloversville, New York passed away peacefully on May 15, 2026. He was born May 11, 1945 in Nyack, New York the son of the late George and Margaret Glover. Daniel was the loving husband of Theresa M. Glover. They were married 59 years

After graduating from high school, Daniel enlisted in the United States Navy where he served proudly until his honorable discharge. He went on to work as a maintenance mechanic for Fulton Montgomery Community College until his retirement.

Daniel enjoyed spending time with his family, especially hosting Sunday dinners for his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was a proud member of the The Harold Wilmot American Legion having each of the job titles at one point in time including being a commander. Daniel was an avid bowler who spent many nights bowling with his wife as well as being on many bowling leagues. One of the things Daniel enjoyed most was the time he spent with his friends going away on hunting trips.

In addition to his wife, Daniel is survived by his children, Dean and Scott Glover; his grandchildren, Christopher (Cassie) Glover, Daniel Glover and Erin Glover; his great-grandchildren, Jack Glover, Caroline Glover, Liam Glover, Allison Glover, Eli Glover, and Joey.; his siblings, George Glover, Mary Conklin, and Ann Witcherell; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

In addition to his parents, Daniel is predeceased by his sister, Margaret Cameron.

A service will take place at 1pm on Wednesday May 27,2026 at Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Road, Schuylerville, New York.
