Elvis Aaron Presley Taylor Sr.

Elvis Aaron Presley Taylor Sr. passed away unexpectedly on April 11,2026 at his home. He was the son of David and Anna (Williams) Taylor, born August 13, 1979 in Gloversville.

Elvis loved to listen to his music; he loved to sing and told everyone he wanted to be on American Idol. He always put a smile on everyone's faces, no matter what room he walked into he would light it up.

Elvis graduated from Johnstown high school in 1997. He played football all four years of high school for Johnstown and ran track for Gloversville and Johnstown. He has received rewards from running track in 1992. Elvis was a man of many achievements.

Elvis is survived by his mother, Anna Taylor; children Davena Taylor, Elvis Taylor Jr., Aaron Taylor and Carson Taylor. He is also survived by his grandson Messiah Filkins and his brothers David Taylor, Ulysses Taylor, Robert Taylor and Yuma Taylor, as well as many friends he made throughout his lifetime.

Elvis was predeceased by his father, David Taylor, Sr. in 2000.

The family has chosen to remember Elvis' life privately at this time, and there are no services.
