James Gilbert Williams Jr., age 82, of Gloversville, NY passed away on June 27, 2026. James was born on August 30, 1943 in Troy to Almeda Burham Williams and James G. Williams Sr.
James was predeceased by his parents, Almeda and James Williams Sr.; his siblings Charles Williams, David Williams, Clayton Williams, and Hazel Williams; his wife Lorraine Geweye Williams; and his son James Williams II.
He is survived by his children Lynn Williams, James Williams III, Annette Williams, John Williams, Jeanette Battisti-Williams, James B. Williams, and Yvette Williams, along with 10 grandchildren, and various great-grandchildren.
There will be no services or calling hours. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions can be made to the National Children's Cancer Society or the Mountain Valley Hospice. Arrangements are by the Betz, Rossi. Bellinger & Stewart Family Funeral Homes.
