Mrs. Sandra Joy Cassaro, age 81, of Gloversville, New York, died on December 25, 2022 at Ellis Hospital in Schenectedy, New York.
She was born on May 2, 1941 in Gloversville, the daughter of James and Elsie (Hurd) Greene. She attended high school in Gloversville and settled down with her husband, Charles Cassaro. She loved children, and enjoyed being a babysitter for the community at large, and especially loved her family and her own grandchildren.
Sandra is survived by her children: Anthony C. (Mary Ellen) Cassaro, Suzanne (Jeffrey) Brown, and Charles (Christine) Cassaro; her nephew James Greene; her niece Traci Walsh; her grandchildren: Kassandra (Johnathan) Olsen, Cheyenne Cassaro, and Jeffrey Brown; as well as several great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband: Charles Cassaro; her parents: James and Elsie Greene; her siblings: Bruce Greene, Nancy Greene, and Gilbert Greene; and a granddaughter: Melinda (Patricia) Cassaro.
Services for Sandra will be held privately at her request.
