Victoria L. Chenelle

Victoria “Vicky” Nelson Chenelle, born April 13, 1961, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, sadly passed away on May 12, 2026, many loved ones who are dear to her fluing high to join family, including her mother, Diane Nelson (Johnson); her stepfather, Jim Nelson; her brother, Dale Nelson; and her sister, Deb Smalla, along with many others she always remembered.

Vicky truly marched to the beat of her own drum, yet she never missed a beat. She never missed an important date. She was strong-willed, loving, fun, and always true to herself. Vicky was a very strong spirit and was very giving. In her life she rescued many cats and animals. She was always rescuing cats off the street and giving them a great home. She loved her dog Emily, who sadly passed before her. Emily was her best friend in life.

Vicky was an honorable organ donor who is now helping to save and change others' lives.

Victoria is now a guardian angel to her living loved ones who include her nieces, Amber Nelson, Ashley Nelson and Brandi Leonard; her sister-in-law, Candy Nelson; her nephew, Steve Vansparrentak; and her life long friends, Clinton Hettinger and Tina Ritacco .
