Shirley Kaesmeyer

Shirley Kaesmeyer, 71, of Longmont, Colorado, passed away on June 20, 2026 into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Born on July 17th, 1954 in Heber, Utah, she was the cherished daughter of Warren “June” Wilson and Dorothy Anderson. After graduating from Evanston Senior High School in 1972, Shirley worked as a retail professional in different locations, ending at Murdochs in Longmont, CO.

In 1998, she married her soulmate and best friend, Jim Kaesmeyer. For 29 years, they built a beautiful life together rooted in true devotion to each other along with various pets. Shirley was an extraordinary wife, anchor to her husband, devoted caretaker of their beloved pets and a loving homemaker.

Beyond her devotion to her husband, Shirley had a passion for making jewelry and an eye for western wear. She will be remembered for her lighthearted personality and easy-going demeanor.

She was preceded in death by her father Warren “June”; her mother Dorothy; brother Mike; and sister Carolyn. She is survived by her devoted husband Jim.

A private committal service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Longmont Humane Society in her honor.
