James Michael Navarro

May 17, 1951 — April 3, 2026

On April 3, 2026 Jim left this earth to be with his beloved wife Katherine.  Jim is survived by their daughter Sara (Donald) Gartner, his brother Daniel (Linda), and his sister Anna.  Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous adopted  "into his family" granddaughters.

Jim was preceded in death by his father Anastacio and mother Isabel.

Jim graduated from Tucson High School "1969" and he was truly a THS Badger.  Jim also graduated from Pima Community College.  Jim worked for the Sunnyside School District from 1973 until his retirement December 2007.

Jim really loved to go out to eat with family and friends, he loved to fish and his love for Reservation Lake was well known throughout.  Jim loved to cook, his tamales were the best.

Jim will be greeted by an entire pack of dogs that crossed the rainbow bridge and are waiting for him to play with them.

Our love and thanks go to Alison, Tim, Victoria, Cathy and Barbara for always being there for him.
