Kenneth A. Bolle Sr. February 23, 1942 – April 1, 2026

Kenneth Arthur Bolle Sr. was born in Detroit, Michigan, to Arthur and Angeline Bolle. He was preceded in death by his parents. In 1946, the family moved to Tucson, Arizona, where Ken would build a life rooted in faith, family, and community.

Ken attended Saints Peter and Paul Catholic School and graduated from Salpointe High School, Class of 1960. A proud alumnus, he found great joy in the legacy continued by his children and grandchildren as fellow Lancers. He was also a member of the first graduating class of Pima Community College.

Ken met the love of his life, Dina, in a dance class at PCC, and together they shared 53 wonderful years of marriage. They truly danced through life side by side.

He dedicated his career to the City of Tucson as an Electrical Inspector, where he took pride in helping others achieve their business goals while ensuring safety and code compliance.

Of all his accomplishments, Ken cherished his roles as “Dad” and “Poppi” most. He was his children’s and grandchildren’s biggest supporter, attending every game and event, always proudly wearing their team colors. He instilled in them the values of hard work and doing things right the first time, and he was always ready with the right tool to fix anything.

Ken especially loved his three grandchildren and never missed an opportunity to brag about them. He enjoyed traveling, particularly cruising, with his Alaskan cruise being his favorite adventure.

Known for his warm personality, Ken loved telling jokes and sharing stories with everyone he met. He was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus and devoted countless hours to volunteering and helping those in need.

Ken is survived by his loving wife, Dina; his son, Kenneth Bolle Jr.; and his daughter, Patricia Hurley (Ben). He will be deeply missed by his three cherished grandchildren, Caitlin, Allison, and Benjamin Jr., as well as many dear family members and friends.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to his doctors and Casa De La Luz Hospice for their compassionate care.

A visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m., followed by a Rosary at 10:30 a.m. and a Celebration Mass at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 23, at Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church, 1800 S. Kolb Rd., Tucson, Arizona.
