Richard L. Sainz

Richard L. Sainz, age 76, peacefully died October 14, 2015. A Tucson native, his parents were Jerry and Consuelo Sainz. He shared 52 loving years with his wife, Marietta, who survives him, along with his children, Luana Patterson (John), Richard (Amethyst), Michael (Jeanice); adopted son, Shun Lo (Vivian), and his grandchildren, Jack Sheldon III, Gabriel and Olivia Sainz, Andreas and Emily Sainz, and Amanda Lo. He is preceded in death by grandson, Miguel Sainz. He was a 1957 Salpointe Catholic HS graduate, who proudly served in the US Navy '59-'61, and received his BS in Business Admin from the University of Arizona in 1965. He began his career in public accounting in 1971. He was also a member of many professional, church and civic organizations. His passions included his family, reading, "punning-around", and sports, particularly golf. Hold a tee-time for us Up There! We all love you! Please join us at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church on Thursday, October 22, 2015 for the Visitation at 9:30 a.m. Rosary at 10:30 a.m. and Mass at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow at Holy Hope Cemetery.
