Stanley J. Krol Jr.
Stanley J. Krol, Jr.May 20, 1950 - August 10, 2025 Stanley Joseph Krol Jr., 75, of Tucson, Arizona, passed away after fighting valiantly against Parkinson’s Disease on August 10, 2025. While the disease ravaged his body, it didn’t take his mind, his laughter, his Catholic faith and love of family.Stan was born in Chicago, Illinois on May 20, 1950 to Stanley J. Krol Sr. and Helen Krol (both deceased). He is survived by his devoted wife, Linda (Grabek); his son Matthew; his daughter Jackie; his grandsons Sawyer and Luka; and his younger brother, John Krol; extended family plus those to whom he was a godparent.Stan and Linda married on April 7, 1973 and began a life together that was full of love and laughter and overcame many hardships together in their 52 years. They built a family that will continue for generations, following in their loving footsteps.A dedicated physical therapist, Stan devoted his career to helping countless people across Illinois and Wisconsin regain strength, mobility, and hope. He created many friendships with people through work and home that not only lasted decades, but distances that Stan never let become a barrier. He had passions away from work, always strong in his Catholic faith and praying daily to St. Philomena. He once was a breeder of homing pigeons, racing them and proudly winning some trophies along the way. He had a fascination of trains that once led to most of a basement being taken up by a large train set, much to Linda’s chagrin.Stan was 100% Polish, and a true Polack — an impatience and stubbornness that Linda and Jackie knew all too well! He loved to tease, especially his children and grandchildren. He was a lover of a good beer, whiskey and Polish food, pizza and Italian beef sandwiches. A ruler of the remote control, the television was often tuned to Fox News or football on Sunday’s, Monday’s and Thursday’s. He loved his Green Bay Packers and the Denver Nuggets, often texting or calling Matthew for updates on game times and news on his favorite teams. And whenever he got up from his chair, it was always best to not be downwind.Stan will be remembered for his tender heart, laughter and love of family. He will be deeply missed, but his spirit, stories and laughter will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
