Rosemary Everett

Rosemary Anna Everett (nee Finley), was born on Sept. 20, 1927 in Linwood, PA. She passed away on Dec. 26, 2011 in Chico, CA, at the age of 84. She moved to Chico with her family in 1957. Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband, Billy E. Everett, Sr., who died in 2010, and a son, Billy E. Everett, Jr., who died in 1961. She is survived by a son, Stanley E. Everett and his wife, Virginia (Lotzman); a daughter, Anita D. (Everett) Lewis and her husband, Steven; a son, Dennis L. Everett; a sister, Mary Frances Reiter; three brothers, James, John and Franklin Finley; 10 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren. For many years, Rosemary was active with her husband in the Chico Elks, especially during his terms as Exalted Ruler. Rosemary was a devoted wife and mother, and an excellent gardener, seamstress and cook. She will be missed by her family and many friends. Funeral arrangements were handled by Brusie Funeral Home. Rosemary was interred with her husband at Glen Oaks Memorial Park on Jan. 3, 2012, with a private graveside service, as she had requested.
