Thelma Ruth Loop Kriegshauser, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, artist, cinnamon roll maker, gatherer, hostess, playmate, card player, silly, beach walker, officer's wife, love of dad's life, family matriarch, born May 1st 1933 in Liberal Kansas to Forrest and Ethyl Loop. Lived in Kansas, moved to Oregon, graduated from North Marion High School, as the first Senior class, married an Air Force officer, James C Kriegshauser, and traveled from base to base. They had six children, Jan Tatom, Mary Colvin, M Lisa Dietz, John Kriegshauser, M Kay Morris, and James E Kriegshauser. She and Jim retired in Canby to stop moving and finish raising their six children and then grand children and great grand children, all of whom spent days learning, playing, drawing, cooking with the always willing GG.

Dad gave us six children the gift of travel, crossing the US multiple times. Mom gave us the gift of harmonious travel leading us in songs to cover the miles, songs that carry us today as mothers and fathers to lull our babies to sleep or to remind us Que sera sera, What will be will be.

Thelma died April 16th at her home in Canby. She is preceded in death by her husband, her five siblings and two grandchildren.

Contributions can be made in mom's name to St Patrick Catholic Church, Canby or OHSU Doernbecher's Children's Foundation.
