Donald Gene Kintz,81 passed away on Wednesday April 15th, 2026. He was reunited with his sweetie Clara (his wife) in heaven after 14 years living on his own. He was born November 21, 1944, in Des Moines, Iowa to Virgil Ora Kintz and Velma (Stuterville) Kintz.
Don was a truly amazing man. He was admired and appreciated by all who knew him. He would do anything to help a family member, a friend or stranger. He loved to drive and see the Country He loved working and doing whatever it took to earn a living. He drove a semi truck for 54 years and then drove for the Amish Community for 12 years The Amish families he drove for let us know that when he said he was going to be there at a certain time He WAS. We knew that though, he was dependable beyond our expectations and could fix anything but stupid as his sign says. LOL
Don is survived by three sisters, Martha Talbot, Mary Wake and Lori Kobilan and two brothers Ron (Ruth) Kintz and Steve (Janice) Kintz. Three Children, Brenda (Greg) Feldman, Donald (Michelle)Kintz Jr and Terry (Heath Rose) Kintz. seven grandchildren Jessica (Jon) McCaffery, Shannon (Josh) Moser, Joseph Kintz, Angela Kintz, Katie Schwiger, Jennifer (Nick) Kintz, Ryan Rose, and seven great grandchildren.
Public viewing, visitation and service will be held on Tuesday April 21st at 1 pm Carroll-Lewellen Funeral Home in Longmont, 503 Terry Street
