With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Dad, son, brother and friend, Robert Garza, who left us on May 25,2026 at the age of 57.

Rob was a loving dad, son, brother, uncle, and friend whose kindness, humor, and generosity touched everyone fortunate enough to know him. He brought warmth into every room and had a remarkable way of making people feel seen and valued.

Born on December 29, 1968 in Oak Park, IL, Rob grew up with a deep love for family and friends, music, hiking, biking, cooking out, love for the mountains and Chicago. Especially the Chicago Cubs. He was kind, fun loving, never met a stranger he did not make a friend, always there when you needed advice and always ready to tell a dad joke. Whether sharing stories, offering support, or simply being present, he gave freely of himself and left lasting memories with those he loved.

His selfless act of giving continues with organ and tissue donation. He will continue to help others and give new life to others.

Rob in his career as being in investigator, he was known for his work ethic and for the love of his job for over 30 years. He approached his work with integrity and persistence and earning the respect of his colleagues, clients and friends alike. Rob was a part of many associations Professional Private Investigators Associations of Colorado, National Council of Investigation and Security Services and American Society of Industrial Security. His passion for his career and mentoring for the next generation of investigators will live on. He will be greatly missed by all colleagues.

He is survived by his children Max Garza, and Isabella Garza and their mother Christy Jemail, mother Celia G. Guajardo, Brother Gilbert Garza(Anne), Sister Lisa Garza-Randle (Craig),and nieces and nephews who will forever hold him close in their hearts. He was preceded in death by dad Eusebio Garza.

A celebration of Rob’s life will be held on June 12, 2026 at 11:00 am at Immaculate Conception Church 715 Cabrini Drive Lafayette, CO 80026. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance and honor the beautiful life he lived. A reception to follow at the church hall.
