Alexander Christian Luster

Alexander Christian Luster 36, of Boone, NC went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 8, 2026. 

He was born in Kingsport, Tennessee on March 9, 1990. Alex was a 2007 graduate of Watauga High School and later went on to become an electrician. He was an avid outdoorsman and especially enjoyed fishing and spending time on the water. Alex was proud to have been awarded the Teen North Carolina Body Building Championship at 16 years old. He was a loving father, son, brother, and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Survivors include his daughters, Kelsi, Haley, and Ryleigh Luster; parents, Dr. David and Brenda Luster; fiancé, Courtney Wrenn; sisters, Karen Blakley and husband David, April Miller and husband Mike, Vanessa Booher and husband Johnathan; very special friends who were like brothers, Michael and Cory; along with several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends from 1 pm to 3 pm on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Sunnyside Baptist Church (406 Cooks Valley Rd. Kingsport, TN 37664). A celebration of life service will follow with Dr. Bill Sims officiating.
