Beulah Mae Napier

Jul 20, 1930 — Jun 28, 2026

Beulah Mae Napier, age 95 of Kingsport, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, June 28, 2026. Beulah was born on July 20, 1930, in Kingsport, TN to William and Sarah Napier. Beulah was a devout member of First Broad Street United Methodist Church for many decades, in which she worked in the nursery for 53 years.

Beulah was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend. She loved working with children, and she was a living testimony to her Heavenly Father. Beulah enjoyed cooking, listening to blue grass gospel music, raising her cats, and antique shopping. She found solace in being a mother to her children, and a mother to many. She will be forever remembered by the thousands of children that she was able to minister to during her time at First Broad Street UMC. The love that she shared will continue on in the lives of those who knew her. She will truly be missed.

Beulah was preceded in death by her parents; son, Ralph Anthony Napier; grandson, Mark Anthony Napier; brothers, Billy Napier, James Napier, Raymond Napier, Gene Napier, and Willis Napier; sisters, Sandra Odom, Georgia Oliver, and Priscilla Shaffer Goode. Those left to cherish her memory are her three daughters, Pamela Alley and husband, Eddie, Donna Furter, and Rhonda Doran; son, Steve Napier and wife, Cathy; grandchildren, Christopher Furter and wife, Stacey, Jonathan Napier, and Erin Napier; brother, Danny Napier; and many loving nieces, nephews, and other family members.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 2, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Carter Trent Funeral Home in Kingsport. A funeral service will follow with Rev. Jack Edwards officiating. A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 3, 2026, at 11:00 am at Church Hill Memory Gardens.
