Jolene Hilton

Jolene Hilton 88, of Kingsport went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at her home with her family by her side. 

She was born in Kingsport to the late Rev. Jack and Laura Campbell. Jolene was a devoted Christian and charter member of Sunnyside Baptist Church. She was a great storyteller, had a great sense of humor, and especially enjoyed scaring her children and grandchildren. Jolene was loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend and prayer warrior who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Hilton; daughter, Regina Rock; son, Jimmy Hilton; sisters, Ruth Campbell, Virginia Carter, and Phyllis Elam; brothers, Jack and Roy Campbell.

Survivors include her daughters, Kim Carter and husband Mike, Tara Blair and husband Chris, Amy Supino and husband Paul; sons, John Hilton, Ben Willis and wife Marilyn; daughter-in-law, Hope Hilton; grandchildren, Lance, Dustin, Dallas, Keeton, Gunnar, Brittney, Corttney, Luke, Hayden, Chandler, Gabe, and Kendrick; great grandchildren, Peyton, Pearson, Presley, Avaleigh, Ryleigh, Barrett, Smith, Bays, Caiden, Brooklee, Brady, Karsyn, Eli, Rhett, Campbell, Remington, Clarke, Bronson, Cash, Brody, Shayla, and Bernie; sisters, Roma Gibbons and Connie Leonard; along with a host of friends and extended family.

The family will receive friends from 2pm to 4pm on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at Carter-Trent Funeral Home in Kingsport. A funeral service will follow with Dr. Bill Sims officiating.

A private entombment service will be conducted at East Lawn Memorial Park.
