Larry Robert Jones Jr.

Larry Robert Jones, Jr. age 73, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 24, 2026. Larry was born in Hawkins County,TN to Larry Sr. and Barbara Jones. Larry loved to listen to country music on the radio, especially, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, George Jones, Merle Haggard and Waylon Jennings. He also took an interest in history, especially World War II, because of his father’s service in Europe. In addition to his parents, 

Larry is preceded in death by his brothers Lester, Johnny, and Ray Jones.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sister, Juanita Massengill; nephew James Massengill; great-nephew Caleb Massengill; cousins Kim Jones and Brandy Venable; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 29th, 2026, at 3:00 pm at Hawkins County Memorial Gardens. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 2:50pm.

He fought the good fight - and he will be forever in our hearts.

Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal.
