Robin Collins

January 14, 1946 — May 1, 2026

Don’t cry for me, for I am HOME. I’ve gone to be with the Lord. I was called to be by His side May 1, 2026, surrounded in love by those I cherish the most – my family.

My desire in life was to glorify my Lord and lead others to Him. I taught Sunday School at Calvary Baptist Church for 24 years and was a member of the choir. The highlight of my life was seeing my husband, daughters, and grandchildren accept the Lord as their Savior and follow in believer’s baptism.

I have joined those called before me: the other half of myself – my precious husband, Floyd, with whom I now walk hand in hand, my parents, C. Herman and Beatrice Brummett, and my brothers, Don and Terry Brummett (Donna).

I leave behind, for a while, my daughters, Pam Collins and Tricia Garber (Randall), the light of my life, my grandchildren, Jesse Garber (Lindsey) and Scottie Garber-Roberts (Curtis), great-grandchildren Scarlett and Zoe Roberts, brothers Bill Brummett (Anita) and Allen Brummett (Louise), sister-in-law Viola Brummett, my chosen children Karen Gilmore and Wes Taylor, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

My parting wisdom for my daughters and grandchildren is this: Live. Love. Laugh…Skip and Sing for Joy! I will be with you in love and, although you cannot see me, I am here!

A visitation of family and friends will be held on Saturday, June 13th, 2026 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Carter-Trent Funeral Home - Kingsport.
