Kevin Wayne Harless

Kevin Wayne Harless, age 57, of Kingsport, TN, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2026, at UT Medical Center surrounded by his family. He was born on December 8, 1968, to Leslie Wayne and the late Shirley Griffith Harless.

He was a lifelong member of Apostolic Lighthouse. Kevin was a graduate of Lighthouse Christian School and was very active in sports. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Kevin was a classic car enthusiast, loved rebuilding cars, and attending car shows. Above all, he adored his grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to his mother, Kevin was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Those left to cherish Kevin’s memory are his father, Leslie Wayne Harless; daughter, Hannah Zavala (Mason); sisters, Kristie Harless Hughes (David), and Niki Adams and partner Jason Painter; grandchildren, Leo and Scarlett Zavala; several nieces, nephews, and extended family members; a special cousin, Jeff Wagers and family.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:00pm on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at The Promise with a Celebration of Life following at 7:00pm.
