Margaret Ann Brewer, 84 of Bristol TN passed peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, April 7th, with the daughter who cared for her faithfully.

She was a beautiful homemaker, mother, grandmother, great‑grandmother, sister, and an all‑around loved lady, known for her kindness, generosity, humor, and steady presence that shaped the lives of everyone who knew her. To her family, she was the best  “Moma” and “Mammie” that anyone could ask for — a source of comfort, strength, and unconditional love.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband James Robert Brewer Sr.; her mother, Josephine Lunsford; her father, Cebert Lunsford; and her sisters, Eva Lunsford Bell  and Linda Lunsford Brewer.

She is survived by her son, James Robert Brewer Jr., and her daughter, Eva Lewis.

She is also survived by her brothers, Kenny Lunsford and Jimmy Lunsford.  Her grandchildren, Marisa Greer ,Nichole Lewis , Jaimie Brewer, James Robert Brewer III, Mallena Brewer and all of their children as well as many loved nieces, nephews, and extended family members who cherished her deeply.

The family will receive friends from 11 am to 1 pm on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be held 2 pm at  Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Blountville, with Pastor George Jones officiating. Those who wish to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 1:50 p.m.

Carter-Trent Funeral Home in Kingsport is serving the Brewer family.
