Shelia Bernice Hilton Harrison

Shelia Bernice Hilton Harrison, 81, of Kingsport went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 27, 2025. She was born in Kingsport to the late W.G. and Hazel Hilton. Shelia enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandson and great-grandson. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.  

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Frank Harrison; daughter, Michele Looney; stepdaughter, Sharon Price; stepson, Randy Harrison. 

Survivors include her daughter, Star Chapman and husband Rick; stepson, Frank Harrison; grandchildren, Denver Bernard (Cheyenne Rooker), Thomas Harrison, and Savannah Harrison; great-grandchildren, Parker Bernard, Daisy Harrison, Waylon Harrison, and Wyatt Harrison; brother, Larry Hilton Sr. And wife Iris; niece, Tricia Gail Adams and husband John; nephew, Larry Hilton Jr. and wife Charlotte; along with a host of friends and extended family.  

Per her wishes, the family will receive friends from 11am to 1pm on Thursday, July 31, 2025 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home in Kingsport. A graveside service will follow at Liberty Hill Cemetery with Pastor Tim Nelson officiating. Pallbearers will be Denver Bernard, Parker Bernard, Rick Chapman, Larry Hilton Jr., Frank Harrison, and Thomas Harrison.
