Judy J. Venzke
June 11, 1944 — January 18, 2024
A cherished longtime Waukesha Resident Judy Venzke (nee Geis) passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 18, 2024, at the age of 79. Born in Waukesha, WI, on June 11, 1944, to parents Edward and Evelyn Geis (nee Christiansen), Judy's life was a tapestry of love, joy, and shared moments.
Judy found joy in the simple pleasures of life, indulging in her passion for counted cross-stitch work, bowling, and the excitement of sports and game shows. Her warm heart welcomed visits from friends, creating memories that will forever linger.
Left to mourn her passing are her loving children, Edward (Amy), Brian (Shelly), grandchildren Kelly, Alex, Brett (Kayla), and Jason, along with her great-grandson Easton and sister Joyce (Richard) Merz. In addition, she leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends, all of whom will miss her dearly. Judy was preceded in death by her loving husband Charles, dog Midnight, and her parents.
The family invites friends and well-wishers to join them in paying respects during the visitation on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, from 10:00 am until the time of services at 12:00 noon. The gathering will take place at Cesarz Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N Moreland Blvd, Waukesha, WI 53188.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to St. Jude in honor of Judy's generous spirit. The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Gloria and Adell for the love and care bestowed upon Judy. Special thanks are also conveyed to Chris Peterson for the friendship and support in Arizona.
