Gregory “Greg” Scott Kern, 55, a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on May 5, 2026, in Port Charlotte, FL. Born on April 8, 1971, in St. Joseph, MI, to Marvin and Linda Kern, Greg’s life was a testament to kindness and family. He was known for his passion for rescue dogs.

Greg will be deeply missed by his brother Jeff and his wife Pam, and his sister Cheryl and her husband David, as well as many nephews, nieces, and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents. Greg’s memory will live on through his family, whose lives have been enriched by his love and support.

A celebration of Greg’s life will be held at a later date.
