Connie Lee Mitchell

Connie Lee Mullins Mitchell, 83, widow of Warren (Pete) Mitchell, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2026. She was born in Lawrenceburg on June 23, 1942 to the late Rice H. and Margaret Scearce Mullins. Connie was very active in her community; she was a member of Buck Run Baptist Church and involved in the Single Women’s Ministry. She was very family oriented. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Connie is survived by her children, Brad Mitchell (Angie), Lawrenceburg, Susan Young (Terry), Nicholasville; stepson, Warren Mitchell, Frankfort; her daughter-in-law, Teri Mitchell, Clearwater; her 9 grandchildren, Gina Crumbaugh (Will), Angie Baltic (Emil), Wesley Mitchell (Elle), Sarah Bradley, Nathan Mitchell, Katie Mitchell Williams (Connor), Allison Young, Ben Young (Fiancé, Margot), and Andrew Mitchell (Leah); and her 11 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, her brother, Stephen Mullins, her son, Mike Mitchell, and her great grandson, Theo Wise.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Barry Harrod and Donna Grimes, as well as the staff at Spring Arbor for their special care of Connie.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:30am on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at Buck Run Baptist Church. Private Burial will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 9:00am until the time of service on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at Buck Run Baptist Church. Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd is in charge of arrangements. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bluegrass Care Navigators or to Buck Run Baptist Church.
