Dale Edward Roberts

Dale Edward Roberts, 68, husband of Nancy Roberts, lost a long and courageous battle against cancer on Tuesday, June 16, 2026. A lifelong resident of Frankfort, he was born on January 2, 1958 to the late Ralph Roberts and Lois Ueltschi Nesselrode. Dale had an outstanding career with the Frankfort Police Department. While there achieving master patrolman, firearms instructor, field training officer, and narcotics officer. He enjoyed horses, horseback riding, motorcycles, tractor pulls, jeep rides, and taking long rides in the country with his wife Nancy.

In addition to his wife of 12 years, Dale is survived by his daughter, Sara Briggs (Ben); his sisters, Beverly Powell (Gary), Tammy Green, Bobbi Mefford (Allen), and Teresa Durman; and his grandchildren, Ella and Henry Briggs. Special mention, Julie Doane, Chip and Alyssa Tobbe.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, June 25, 2026 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd with Rev. Jon Sutphin officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers will be Danny Dean, Joe Fenwick, Jeff Fogg, Allen Mefford, Gary Powell, and Harold Purvis. Visitation will be held from 9:00am until the time of service at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd.
