Glenn Edward Tidd

Glenn Edward Tidd, born May 10, 1955, at an Army base in Fort Huachuca, Arizona, passed away following complications from an infection on Friday, June 12, 2026 at age 71. Glenn grew up with a deep love for the outdoors; as a boy scout, he spent his youth exploring nature. He graduated from Badger High School in Kinsman, Ohio, and went on to graduate from Ryder Diesel Mechanics School in Indianapolis. For over 30 years, Glenn was a dedicated diesel mechanic before transitioning to truck driving, retired at 65. After retirement, he loved sitting on his porch, watching birds, trying to outsmart the squirrels, and tending his flowers each summer.

Glenn was preceded in death by his mother, June Rose; his father, Harry Tidd; and his great granddaughter, Amy Nichole.

He is survived by his sister, Karen Hjerpe (Eddie); his brother, Robert Tidd (Gale); his three children, Melissa Perkins, Michael Tidd (Holly), and David Tidd (Christine); his grandsons, Austin and Dalton Tidd; along with his great granddaughter, Connie Marie.

The visitation for family will be from 11:00am until 1:00pm, followed by a visitation and memorial service from 1:00pm until 2:00pm on Monday, June 22, 2026 at Clark Legacy Center, 3000 Versailles Road, Frankfort, Kentucky, 40601. All are invited to join us as we celebrate his life.
