Glynn Delahoussaye of Frankfort, Kentucky passed away May 30, 2026. Glynn was born in Charleston, South Carolina and raised in Nederland, Texas. After graduating from high school, he signed with the Navy and served as a Naval Corpsman and served in Vietnam. After returning from overseas he became a Physicians Assistant and retired from the Bureau of Prisons last serving in Lexington, Kentucky.
He was preceded in death by his parents Glynn Delahoussaye Sr, Margaret Lee Weaver and Brother Joseph F Delahoussaye and son Gary Ryan Delahoussaye. He is survived by his wife of 55 years Catherine Delahoussaye, a daughter Thuy Nguyen, sons Glynn III & life partner Stephanie Willhoite, Eric & wife Kelli Delahoussaye, Grandsons Anderson Nguyen, Peter Nguyen, Ben Nguyen, Granddaughter Kendra Delahoussaye, Grandsons Hunter and Landon Delahoussaye and “adopted” granddaughters Abbey and Emily Willhoite and sisters Margaret Anzaldua and Mary Diane Humble.
Glynn was active with Boy Scouts in Duluth, Minnesota and Frankfort, Kentucky. Glynn was also an assistant Archery Coach at Franklin County High School, Elkhorn Middle School, and participated in summer archery camps.
Pall Bearers will be Glynn & Eric Delahoussaye, Anderson Nyugen, Kendra Delahoussaye, Todd Bailey, and Geraldo Benavides Jr. and honorary pallbearers Hunter and Landon Delahoussaye.
Funeral Service will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, June 5, 2026 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 11:00am until the time of service on Friday, June 5, 2026 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd.
