James Michael Hartley

James Michael Hartley, 52, husband of Tonya Smither Hartley, passed away on December 22, 2025 in Frankfort. He was born in Frankfort, Kentucky on March 18, 1973 to Mike and Kathy Mitchell Hartley. He was a landscape business owner in Frankfort for many years.
Survivors in addition to his wife and parents are his children, Katelyn (Cameron) Harrod, Emily Hartley (Jaeden Penn), and grandchildren, Paisely and Marleigh.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Peggy and Jimmy Mitchell and Helen and Charlie Hartley.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be on Friday, January 2, 2026 from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Burial will be private in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Family and close friends are welcome to attend.
