Kidd Leon Moore III

Kidd Leon Moore III, 64, departed this earth on July 11, 2026. Born on October 27, 1961, in Frankfort, KY to the late Rev. Dr. Kidd Leon Moore, Jr. And the late Sara (Murry) Moore. He joined First Baptist Church in Frankfort, KY at an early age and embraced life to the fullest. Leon was a very loving person, who enjoyed fishing with his dad and watching the U of L Basketball games. He also enjoyed listening to music. He works several jobs and was a devoted brother to his sister, Karen Moore. He was a very private person who liked being alone.

Leon leaves to cherish his memory to his sister, Karen Moore of Frankfort, KY. His cousin, Van Chase of Tennessee, and his adopted family, Richard and Annie Smith, Joyce Ward, and Jackie Jefferies, of Frankfort, KY, and Rev. William Calhoun of Baltimore, Maryland.

Funeral Service will be held at 12:00pm on Friday, July 17, 2026 at First Corinthian Baptist Church in Frankfort, KY. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 10:00am until the time of service on Friday, July 17, 2026 at First Corinthian Baptist Church, Frankfort, KY.
