Stewart B. Hatchell

Stewart B. Hatchell, 90, widower of Bonnie Hatchell, passed away on April 18, 2026. He was born on April 25, 1935 in Mt Eden, Kentucky to the late Russell and Georgia Hatchell. Stewart was a member of Westview Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife and his parents, Stewart was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Jennifer Jo; and his sister, Betty Todd Casey.

Stewart is survived by his daughter, Debbie Ritter (Gene); and son, Stewart Allen Hatchell (Diana); brothers, Billy Hatchell and David Hatchell (Melissa); 4 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and 5 great great grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held at 12:00pm on Friday, April 24, 2026 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd with Rev. Gary Hager officiating. Private burial service will be held at the Hatchell Family Cemetery on Stewart’s farm. Visitation will be held from 11:00am until the time of service on Friday, April 24, 2026 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Westview Baptist Church at 1443 Louisville Rd, Frankfort, KY 40601.
