Obituary
Albert Adkins, 85, of Wilmore, Kentucky, and the husband of Glenith Hall Adkins, died Friday, November 11, 2011. He was born February 14, 1926 in Pikeville, Kentucky, to the late George and Minnie Adkins. He was a mason and a retired steel worker from U.S. Steel.
In addition to his wife, Albert is survived by his daughter, Fayetta (Rev. Cecil) Lowe of Nicholasville, Kentucky; his sons, Kenneth (Patricia) Adkins of Missouri, Gary (Lois) Adkins of Wilmore, Kentucky, George (Karen) Adkins of Michigan, Charles Adkins of Arizona and Michael Adkins of Nashville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Wanda Norris, Steven Lowe, Raina Weyrauch, Michelle Honeyman, Shelly Bridgforth, Kenna Collier, Gary M. Adkins, Sarah Adkins, Lisa Adkins, Timothy Adkins, Zane Adkins, Travis Adkins, Sean Adkins, Clint Adkins and Brice Adkins; and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Albert was also preceded in death by his daughter, Duwanna Rae and sons, Albert Adkins and Mike Newcome.
Funeral Information
Visitation will be 11am - 1pm, Monday, November 14, 2011 at Clark Legacy Center.
A commital service and burial will follow at Blue Grass Memorial Gardens.
